Configure ArcGIS for Portal to Allow Users Access to UtiliSync

This article explains how to configure your ArcGIS for Portal account so your users can sign into UtiliSync using their Portal credentials.


  1. Go to the Content tab.
  2. Click + New Item.

  1. Select Application.

  1. Select Other application as the Application Type.
  2. Click Next.

  1. Fill in the form as desired
  2. Click Next.

  1. After the app has created, go to the Settings tab.

  1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Update.

  1. Enter the following paths into the Redirect URI input box:
    • - UtiliSync Admin app
    • - UtiliSync Inspect app
    • - UtiliSync811 app
  2. Click Update.

Success! You created an Application on Portal and have an App ID that you can use to connect your Portal account to UtiliSync.
