Connect an ArcGIS Feature Service Related Table to a Form

In this article, you will learn how to connect a Related Table in your Feature Service to a form in UtiliSync using the admin app.


Connecting your Related Tables to forms in UtiliSync is the best way to automatically save data to an ArcGIS object or site. Whenever a new form is submitted, the data in the Related Table is updated.

Instructions

  1. Open the Forms tab in the admin app.
  2. Select the Form to which you would like to attach the Related Table.

  1. In the Form Builder, open the ArcGIS Related Table tab from the navigation panel on the left.
  2. Select the Related Table that you would like to connect to this form from the dropdown list. This list comes from the Related Tables available in your Feature Service which is assigned to the layer that this form is on.

  1. When you have selected the Related Table, you will see the ArcGIS Feature Service Fields that are available for you to map UtiliSync Form Fields to. Use the dropdown lists in each row to assign this mapping from the form to the Related Table.
  2. If you would like to map a form field to a Related Table field that does not exist, you will need to add that field in your GIS Feature Service before it is available in UtiliSync.
  3. If you don't want to map a form field to every Related Table field, you have the option to leave any of the UtiliSync form fields set to None.
  4. When you have finished mapping the form fields to your Feature Service, be sure to use the button on the upper right to SAVE FORM.

Success! Now you can connect an ArcGIS Feature Service Related Table to a form in UtiliSync!
