Create Predefined Comments for Positive Responses

In this article, you will learn how to set commonly used comments to a one-tap feature so your Locators don't have to type in the same comments repeatedly. Only an admin user in your organization will be able to customize this feature in the UtiliSync Admin app.


Instructions

  1. Sign in to the Admin app and open your Locate Request form.
  2. With your form open in the Edit Form space, select the Positive Response field.
  3. In the info panel that opens on the right, toggle the Custom Comments on.
  4. Next, tap on EDIT COMMENTS.

  1. Use the dialog that opens to add your most often used comments one at a time. Tap +ADD COMMENT each time you want to start a new comment.

  1. You can edit, delete, or move (with the double row of dots) all of these comments until your list of comments is configured as you'd like.
  2. When your list is complete, remember to tap on SAVE CHOICES.
  3. Back in the Edit Form space, you can enable the Show All Comments at Once option if you'd like, otherwise the saved comments will appear as a dropdown list.

  1. Make sure to tap on the UPDATE ITEM button and then SAVE FORM before you close the form.

Success! You can now save commonly used Comments to make closing tickets faster for your Locators. Remember that all users must refresh their apps to get the updated version of the form.
