Customize Settings for Single and Multiple Select Fields in a Form

When using the Form Builder in the UtiliSync Admin app, once you have added a field to a form, you can customize the settings for that field in the box on the right side of the screen. In this article, you will learn how to customize the settings that will be available in a Single Select or Multiple Select field. The image below only shows the settings box on the right of the screen.

Instructions

1. After creating the Label and adding the Choices to your field, you can activate three further settings that are only available in these two types of form fields. The first setting is Choices are Images. Use this setting if you would prefer your choices to be images instead of text. Click on the circle to the left of this setting to turn this setting on or off.
2. The second setting is Include 'Other' Option and it can also be clicked on or off. Use this setting if you would like an 'Other' choice added at the end of the list you have created. If this choice is selected by the user filling out your form, they will be given a field in which to type details.
3. The third setting that can be switched on or off is 'Show All Choices at Once'. This setting only affects your view of the form in the Form Builder, not the form the user sees nor the final submitted form. It will compress this field to simply the Label of the form in the center of your screen for easier navigation purposes.

5. Remember to click on the Update Item button when you have finished customizing the settings.
