Clear the cache in Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome.
- Click on the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner (usually located next to the address bar).
- Hover your cursor over "More tools."
- In the expanded submenu, select "Clear browsing data."
Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + Delete" (or "Cmd + Shift + Delete" on Mac) to open the Clear browsing data menu.
- In the "Clear browsing data" window, you can choose the time range for which you want to clear the cache. To clear all cached data, select "All time."
- Make sure that the "Cached images and files" option is checked. You can also select other data to clear, but for cache clearing, this is the essential option.
- Click the "Clear data" button to start the cache clearing process.
Chrome will remove the cached files and data from your browser. After this is done, you should have a cleaner browsing experience with the cache cleared.
Remember that clearing the cache may sign you out of some websites, so make sure to have your login credentials ready if needed.
