Clear the cache in Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome.
  2. Click on the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner (usually located next to the address bar).
  3. Hover your cursor over "More tools."
  4. In the expanded submenu, select "Clear browsing data."

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + Delete" (or "Cmd + Shift + Delete" on Mac) to open the Clear browsing data menu.

  1. In the "Clear browsing data" window, you can choose the time range for which you want to clear the cache. To clear all cached data, select "All time."
  2. Make sure that the "Cached images and files" option is checked. You can also select other data to clear, but for cache clearing, this is the essential option.
  3. Click the "Clear data" button to start the cache clearing process.

Chrome will remove the cached files and data from your browser. After this is done, you should have a cleaner browsing experience with the cache cleared.

Remember that clearing the cache may sign you out of some websites, so make sure to have your login credentials ready if needed.
