Create a Text Box in Markup

In this article, you will learn how to customize and add a Text Box to your photo or screenshot in the Markup area of the UtiliSync Inspect app.

Instructions

  1. Open Markup for your image.
  2. Click on the Text icon and customization options will appear in the lower left of your screen.

  1. Click on the Color square to open the options. Select the color, opacity, and size that you want your text to be. Then click on your image where you want your text to be located.
  2. Double-click on the default new text and enter your desired text in the Edit Text panel that opens. NOTE: You can add multiple lines of text.
  3. Close the panel when you are finished adding your text.

  1. There are nodes on the corners of your Text Box that allow you to move it and change the size of both the box and the text.
  2. If you would like to give your text box a Label and Description or Delete it, those options are in the lower right of your screen.
  3. When you are finished customizing your text, close the edit text options at the bottom of the screen.

  1. Last, click on Save and Close or the dropdown arrow to Save Draft and keep working in Markup.

Success! You can now add a Text Box to your photo or screenshot in Markup.
