Set Enterprise URL as a Query Parameter

Users typically need to type in the Enterprise URL the first time they sign in to the app. After the Enterprise URL is typed in the first type, the URL is saved to the device and it will be pre-populated for subsequent sign-ins, assuming the user doesn't clear their browser cache. However, it can still be a time-consuming process to type the Enterprise URL in correctly the first time. 

This article describes how the Enterprise URL can be included in the app URL, which will save the user from having to manually type it in.


Instructions

  1. Add the following to the end of the URL of any page in the UtiliSync app ?arcgisEnterpriseUrl={{Enterprise URL}}.

Success! Now the Enterprise URL will be pre-populated for the user when they sign in.
